Maintaining her fitness requires Disha to exercise twice a day. That’s right, twice daily! Every morning she begins her day with a cardio workout, which includes dancing, kickboxing, and gymnastics. Every evening she exercises with weights. In an interview with Vogue, she said both men and women can do weight training. Unlike the popular belief that women do not do weight training, she believes it is about working on the body and becoming your best self.

Since Disha dislikes doing the same workouts every day, she tries to include different workout regimens every time. Often, you will see her trying new things, such as dancing, Kung Fu (she is a big fan), and much more.

In terms of her workout regimen, Disha Patani incorporates pilates, swimming, dancing, weight training, and yoga into her routine. “Square dancing” was something she learned while working with Chinese superstar Jackie Chan on “Kung Fu Yoga.” This activity seems to calm her down.

Besides being a gymnast, Disha also has training as a dancer. Additionally, she goes to the gym four days a week. She does not miss those sessions and loves to keep her body active throughout the day. Apart from cardio, she also concentrates a lot on weight training. Consequently, she does yoga every morning for one hour.

But we all work out and do heavy weights; I come across so many girls in the gym training really hard. At the end of the day, it isn’t about gender, but about working on your body and becoming your fittest self,” said Disha in an interview with a magazine. She also urged her fans, especially women to get into shape and stay motivated.

Disha provided the following explanation when asked what her secret to toned abs is: “There is no secret as such. It’s all about an intensive ab workout and a strict diet. Maintaining abs is the most difficult thing as one day you have them and the next day they may disappear. So I strongly believe a rigorous workout and a healthy diet are the only ways to maintain abs.”

In a previous interview, Disha mentioned that she prefers to work out. She dislikes staying in one place for long periods of time. According to the actress, she prefers moving over meditation because she is very impatient. She is therefore an avid workout enthusiast.
